I only go to SoF for news and check for some interesting files if any are floating around.
However, I've made a small chart about basic forum comparison, concerning a typical thread on both forums:
Typical thread in Zoolook.nl:
[Opening post]
[Stuff about it]
[Hey, where's Ronja?]
[ONTOPIC PLEASE!]
[AaaaanDrOiD, have you forgot to upgrade your firmware again?]
[ONTOPIC!]
[More stuff about original subject]
[Hey, look at my shiny new pants]
[LOOOOOOOOOL]
[ONTOPIC PLEASE!]
[More like ontopic cheese]
[Stuff about original subject maybe]
[ONTOP- oh, carry on!]
[And so on...]

Typical thread in SoF:
[Opening post]
[Stuff about it]
[Hey, did you know Jarre mimes in his concerts?]
[No way!]
[Yes way!]
[No way, because he does and I've played synths the day I was born so I KNOW THAT so STFU]
[Jarre hasn't done a single good album since Metamorphoses]
[DUDE Meta sucked and JMJ hasn't done a single good album since Waiting for Cousteau]
[Hey, did you know Jarre mimes?]
[Haven't we, like, gone through this every single day since 1988?]
[You know what he should do? Not mime in his concerts!]
[Did you know GeeJee is evil?]
[Damn GJ!]
[What was the original topic again? *checks* Oh if Jarre mimes or not.]
[Hey, did you know Jarre mimes?]
[And so on...]
In SoF's defence, that's exactly what Jarre.net was. In other words, SoF has retained the legacy of Jarre.net while Zoolook.nl has started to form a new community with some old traits (mostly people).
...and haven't we gone through this like before?
