Hot damn! That looks interesting. A D50... I wonder what that's for. It could look like a Perrier setup.

You can also spot an eminent with a nordlead and some stompboxes on top in the background, similar to Perriers setup in Moscow. There's a white keytar in the background in that pic too.

Argh crap the sun is shining on my window, so dark pictures are hard to see. I'll have to check it out a bit later. No matter what, this looks really interesting already, and that's just the gear so far :fine:

EDIT: The keytar is without much doubt the AX-Synth.

Ooh, 1 month and 13 days left.

Still hoping for a drummer... but since that's 100% unattainable, I guess a schmexy new version of Ethnicolor would be ever so appreciated (with the Fairlight on stage mmmperhaps?). And a choir for that matter. And Chronologie 1. Oh man!

*sigh*

There may also be a live drummer, because cymbals are on the picture

You may have noticed, that mellotron and AKS are there too

question: what "stompbox" is?

A Mellotron has all the choir you'll ever need, jp8000! :D

Oh, this is starting to look exciting! If we can now see a picture of laser harp rehearsals, everything looks perfect!

I like the way they mix old analog gear with old and newer digital gear, not limiting themselves artistically to stay "purely analog".

Hmm, I think I haven't said anything about the Mellotron choir(?)

Didn't they mention the laser harp during the tour annoucement

(even before the synthex was revealed to be with them??)

Yes it's a fushion as seen for the Oxygene Tour 1997.
Perrier has a nice set of aviator glasses

EDIT: Let's keep the geartalk here

It's very good of Francis to tell us this info via his blog. The possibilities are endless. 8)

Details of the radio programme, The Music Week (05/04/2009) on BBC 6 Music has been updated:

We pay Jack Peñate a visit at his home studio and meet electronic legend Jean Michel Jarre, plus there's news from the Snowbombing festival.

Sorry, the choir comment was meant for Finaero, who wished for a choir on stage. ;)

I believe the laser harp was mentioned, but I don't know how official that info was. Would be great to get confirmation from the guys themselves.

Seeing the laser harp live would be one of the greatest moments of the concert for me.
