No "new" music as such... probably the same, I would imagine.
A lot of ambient sounds and samples of Charlotte talking along with extracts from tracks like Equinoxe and Souvenir of China, etc.

I went to the exhibition last month. It was small, but interesting. And very nice to hear JMJ's music and read his introduction to the work.

That's interesting. I wonder how much music he has already recorded.

"Adagio"

I really like the sound of this track. Does anybody know if "Adagio" is the official name? Where did this come from?

I hope we don't have to wait too long to hear some more from his new album-in-progress. those little snippets on the Thé ou Café programme also sound great.

As a Doctor Who fan, I did find the review amusing, but whoever wrote it clearly doesn't actually know that much about Jean Michel or his music.

I'm still on a high from Saturday's show; it was only my second Jarre gig, and I never thought I'd get to see him live once, let alone twice!

I would ...

I deliberately ignored The Symohonic Jean Michel Jarre upon it's release, thinking to myself, "I like synthesisers - why would I want to hear any other version?" How wrong I was.

Quite recently, I was in the kitchen, and heard some familiar notes drifting in from the TV in the lounge. The ...

It's probably second favoruite JMJ album after the original Oxygene. Although I had loved the original from an early age, it wasn't until this album came out in 1997 that I realised I needed to investigate more and have more of Jean Michel's music in my life!

1997 was a siginficant year for me and ...

I read a recent interview when the same thing was said - I didn't know his mother had passed away, which is sad.

It would be interesting to know what state the album is at - half done, nearly done, complete, or just started!

Also, does anybody know if Variations I-III will be part of the new album? Or maybe he's keeping those with Oxygene.

Since he says he's been writing/recording the album whilst touring, that does suggest to me that it will be analogue again, since he has also embraced this original technology for his live shows - going back to his roots, and realising this is not only what he does best, but what people expect of ...

Oxygene 7 is in my top 3 Jarre tracks! It is sublime, epic and atmospheric. JMJ through and through! How can you not like it?! :?

My only disappointment in the 2010 tour is that he didn't play Oxygene 7, 8 or 10 (I didn't expect all, but one would have been nice). But you can't have everything!
