Orient Express
Moon Machine
El Dorado
Globe Trotter
Orient Express: re-recording of the Concerts in China track (disc 2, track 1)

Moon Machine: B-side track of 4th Rendez-Vous. Was intended to be released on Zoolook, but didn't make it in time. Was also released as a flexidisc for US Keyboard magazine in 1986.

Eldorado & Globe Trotter: both were composed as obligatory new tracks for a best-of compilation. Probably meant for the cancelled Mexico concert.

Moon Machine is a fantastic track, shame it's a bit overlooked. It's very clever.

I don't consider it more than a fairlight-demo.

Calypso contains a lot of samples from Moonmachine.

Moon Machine's first public release was as a soundpage in the American magazine Keyboard in March 1986:

agree with post above, MoonMachine was supposed to be on the Zoolook LP, missed a deadline or something else..

I would love to have that Flexidisc, I've seen one from Magnetic Fields 2 once but never knew those flexydisc are pretty uncommon :?

I love this album, and I think it's the best compilation disc Jarre has done... However I never heard the album in decend surroundsound, our setup here at home is a cheap homecinema set my parents bought without consulting so they just came home one day with it... The rear speakers are awfull... If anyone here near Beverwijk has a great setup for this Id love to hear the album from start to finish again :bravo:

There are many different ones. See: http://jarre.ch/Bootlegs/Bootlegs_6Inch.htm

It's all illegal crap from Russia...The Moon Machine flexi is real. You can sometimes find it on ebay, especially when they do not mention Jarre in the title of the auction and you have to be sure that the soundpage is still in there :-)

Well it's not there at the moment, but hopefully there will be one popping up soon... Although if Oxygene 7-13 vinyl appears at the same time it would become a dilemma

Be careful...collecting is addictive..
I don't want to know how much $$ I've spent on JMJ stuff in my life... :-)

I'm only looking for Deserted Palace, so if you have one for sale, contact me :-)
