I agree with the last line of that article about being with JMJ rather than JLS...

Oh yeah.. I won't forget Saturday night in a hurry... spoke to Francis and Jean Michel who was gracious enough to shake my hand!!!

Daughter can't get over it... doubt she ever will now - and thats a *good* thing
She got her hand shook by JMJ too, but he almost forgot to let go.. resulting in my dear darling daughter getting rather excited and the thing is, she can't laugh when she's excited... got it on video, but she said she'd kill me if I posted it, so to protect her, I won't... yet

I shall say this: Jean Michel has lovely, soft, warm, caring hands... I was too overcome myself to praise him on his handcare

It was when he was leaving by car, as the car pulled out, it slowed down so Jean Michel could wave to us and blow kisses and we cheered and clapped and said thanks as he eventually pulled away...

I would have loved to hang around longer after the show, but I had left my keys at home and didn't want to get locked out, so had to leave after meeting Francis.

As a Doctor Who fan, I did find the review amusing, but whoever wrote it clearly doesn't actually know that much about Jean Michel or his music.

I'm still on a high from Saturday's show; it was only my second Jarre gig, and I never thought I'd get to see him live once, let alone twice!

I would have liked to have waited for him after the show, but we had to get back. I did wait for him after his Oxygene concert at the Royal Albert hall in 2008 and he came out, almost got mobbed(!) and got straight into his tour bus. I got to wave him off through the window, which was nice, but I would have really loved to have met him.

Though having said that, I might have been lost for words!

They are getting better at reviewing his concerts, though. Who knows, next time he comes to Manchester they may actually get a fan to review the concert (hint, hint )

They always manage to send someone to review his concert that either a) hasn't heard of Jean Michel Jarre, but recognises 'Oxygene 4' when it's played to them...
b) some nutter that won't go home from the office - 'hey, you may as well as go to this gig and review it' as a means to getting them to just *leave*...
c) someone who is usually a complete ignoramous who hasn't got two brain cells to rub together to form a coherant sentence as regards 'ask the fans' (there was a time many moons ago when the press would send a reporter into the waiting crowds to ask them of what they were expecting and on leaving, what they thought... which makes sense)

No. I haven't come down from Saturday either - it's been an incredible weekend indeed and one that will stay in my mind forever.

I almost had to phone the MEN Arena on Sunday to see if they'd found my voice as I reckon I lost it somewhere between finishing my (now standard) coffee with 10 sugars (pre-concert) and getting on the bus home

Met up with so many wonderful people it would be unfair of me to name them all - they know who they all are anyway
(I'm better at faces than names anyway )

My daughter can't get over it all either - it's made a mark for sure, she'll never go to any other concert and enjoy it in quite the same way as Saturday - why? because all the manufactured rubbish she had been listening to, well, if they ever do a gig she's going to, she's not going to meet them in the same way as we met Francis and Jean Michel on Saturday night for CERTAIN... and she'll be disappointed... because she'll be measuring whoever she sees next against JMJ. And after that, there is no comparison to be made at all - and we like it that way

She had a little excited 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' moment tonight when we told my mum how good our weekend was
