He might still come. Who knows with JMJ. You could always come to the Royal Albert Hall if it goes ahead. :wink2: 8)
Yeah don't take this as final plans. Otherwise I wouldn't mind travelling to Germany. That is a little easier as trains go from Denmark to Germany nowadays.

We all know that a Jarre concert is not 100% sure until he's standing on the stage playing. Just have a look how many concert that have been talked about during the last 2-3 years. And how many has been played?

Everything is still rumors. So I'll wait for more news and more info befor I'm sure the concerts will be played.

Hi, and what about Jerusalen?

In the jarreuk they write about it like one of the most probable in 2008.

I have been the last 22th in Paris with some great great friends watching the Maringy concert. It was one of the most incredible musical experiences in my life, together with EIC Santiago and Merzouga, hehe.

I hope he´ll comes to Madrid with the same concert, and maybe with a large outdoor too, in a future.

Some photos of Paris in our travel to the Marigny experience in my musical web site:

I completely agree with your logic Equinoxe. Although we can never say be sure until 100% confirmation from both JMJ and the venue, I think that at the moment a concert in the Albert Hall is about as likely as the EIC concert in Dusseldorf!

The Albert Hall is a superb venue. I've often thought that Jarre should perform there (The Symphonic JMJ would be excellent performed in there) and it now seems that Jarre has positioned himself in such a way that it is now possible. The Albert Hall is similar to the Theatre Marigny in feel and decor (except that it is massive), and is on the tourist trail as one of the most famous venues and landmarks in the UK. I was in there for a Christmas concert last week and it really is a beautiful building and the atmosphere is electric! It is a real treat for Jarre fans if this comes off.

I've checked the March schedule (www.royalalberthall.com) and it looks to me that there are some gaps towards the end of the month. The only empty Saturday in the schedule is 29th March (Chris Rea is playing on the 28th). If I was a gambling man I'd put money on this being the date for the show - there again, if Jarre is giving multiple performances then the block of 24th to 27th is also quite likely. This is only MY SPECULATION!

I'll be going in any case and, depending on dates, I can allow a couple of you to bunk up in my home if the concert comes to fruit. My home is in Greater South London and it will take about an hour - an hour and a half to travel to and from the concert.

I can't wait! ! ! ! This is one thing I'll happily get into debt for! ! !

Interesting, “a tribute to multi Oscar-winner Maurice Jarre” will be played by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall in May 2008. :P

Jean Michel still has to do the Amsterdam concert for the Aero world tour.
He personally said in 2004 (when he was in Amsterdam) that he would play there in March. 8)
Are you shure he wasn't interviewed in one of the coffeeshop's whilst he was saying that?!?! :smoke:

An article from a local newsapaper from Cologne. Jarre was there at EMI (Capitol Germany is in Cologne) to do promotion and gave this interview.

Jarre said that he will do a small Tour with this Oxygene in your Livingroom Concept and as the interviewer asked him to come to Cologne Jarre answered that he has a special relationship with Cologne.
At his time at the Music Research Group they were for two or three months in Cologne to meet with Karl-Heinz Stockhausen in his Studio.

So we can count Cologne as an possible venue.
