Flæsk is very similar to bacon. Actually my Danish to English dictionary says bacon.

How is it prepared then?
I'd say real flæsk is fryed on a pan as single pieces.
That brunkål looks good but I have never tasted ir, so I don't know how it tastes.

Boiled. Kogt flæsk. :P The cabbage is browned in sugar. :P

I visited my parents, and had this for dinner. Old Danish dish, afaik. :nod:
