Jakob BC wrote:Thanks Jerome! That new piece of music is pretty nice :D very analogue-ish in the same ambient way as Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream. It is first time I hear it directly from Jarre that Oxygene was recorded in his kitchen 8)
I think he might've tried to disguise that fact in the past, but now with such a legacy he' proud of it!

BTW, I though he converted the dining room to suit his synths as well?

Thanks Jerome for the video.

I put pause and this is what I got:

Yes, it is indeed very well done. 8)

I don't think that he mentioned who actually were there on stage with him during the recording of Oxygene 'LiYLR' 3D...that it was infact the same guys from that era when it all started. :P
Well...perhaps it's planned as a little surprise to some 'older' fans (who maybe doesn't read these forums).

The co-musicians on stage were Samard, Perrier, Rimbert. It's not a secret now.

Because of three things :
- They don't work in the Théâtre on Sunday
- They always tell more by phone than by email
- They answer faster by phone

I've decided not to listen to the whole album until the fist concert in Paris! Then I'll listen to them for the first time there (except Variations 3, obviously).
