I forgot about that one..

That was the first Oxygene cash in attempt (with a brilliant video though...)

After that came the 7-13 bit (and tour) and now the 3D in your livingreum thingy...

That cover looks a lot better then the "new one" though....

And unlike GJ, why would they make such a thing for a website if they're gonna use something else within a month or so...??

I'll vote for the paiting "La Folies des Grandeurs" by Michel Granger, but I might have another motive for that LOL

I love this picture Antigoon...

As for the picture on the Polish EMI website--it's passable but definitely lacks any striking quality like the original--so I hope they do an update and change the font for sure (or use the Original).

Still I like Finaero's suggestion the best:

Or even better just do what they did when they re-released Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of The Moon"

Moviemaker: I love it too, that's why I bought the actual painting from Michel ;-)

As for the CD-Single: it didn't have audience sounds on it and not a live video (well, live pinguins for sure)

Trust me, that single had nothing to do with promoting the "live" CD... (in fact, when MTV credits were shown, it either said Album: "oxygene" or (even worse) Album: "Jarre Lies"

MTV said the Oxygene 10 (Sash! Edit 2) was from Oxygene 7-13, they are bad at such things. I never understood the "Jarre Lies". Anyway you cannot run from the fact that it is more related to the "Jarre live" album than Oxygene, hence the name "Jarre Oxygene", therefore the alternative Oxygene vs Jarre live design. Even the B side was Revolutions related. Images did also contain tracks that were identical except for some cuttings and that there were no sounds of the audience.
We can discuss this forever and we should get ONTOPIC before this thread gets destroyed or confusing.

@Finaero - you should have sent that cover to JMJ. I still like how close it is to the Oxygeen 7-13 or Oxygene 8 cover 8) it is just that it doesn't really show what JMJ has added to Oxygene with this new performance.

First, MTV is a bunch of uninformed twats.
Second, around that time, Guns'n'Roses released an album called Lies, so being the uninformed twats that MTV is, they thought all albums are called that. Be happy that G'n'R didn't release Chinese Democracy in 2005, otherwise JMJ's DVD would have been called that.

Yeah, the same thing happened before the release of Teo & Tea - the vast majority of initial information (pictures , tracklistings etc.) was coming from Polish sources.

All pretty accurate information as it turned out.
