This is mine. It's a Yamaha DX-21. I bought it in 1991 when i left the dutch army. I saved my money for months and i was so proud when i had that beautifull synthesizer. I still have it today but i'm not using it anymore. but sometimes i plug it in and play with it.. for old time sake. :)

Nico: You serious about the Ion?

My first real synth was a Korg EA-1. Basic stuff, but a nice sequencer behind it and two synths in one!

My first keyboard was a Yamaha PSS-795 :pwned:

I still have it, but i do not use it anymore, except for 1 or 2 sounds sometimes ...

Anyway, the first real synth I bought was the Roland JP-8000, still have it too and use it heavily !! :peacemaan:

It was an Yamaha SY-1 built in an Electone organ called Yamaha CSY-1. It was pretty limited but still had some useful sounds and aftertouch(!). The sound was very CS80/GX-1.

6 months later I bought a Korg MS10 and started to learn basic synthesis on that.
