The vocoder unit in Properllerhead Reason 3.0. It sounds as cheap as my MicroKorg (Korg VC-10 ?? :D ) but it is also able to sounds very finely, the sound pallet is vast.

Try these. Yeah alright you have to pay, but as Noyau and GJ said you can usually find them free somewhere. The Formulator one's good too, I've got the demo (don't think it's very restricted as I remember) and it's awesome, it can do standard vocoding to wild extreme sound bending.

You must be doing something wrong then ;)

Be sure to use it as effect and not as VST ;)

So open a VST, add an effect and then feed it some live or pre-recorded vocals ;)

I've never quite understood the Fruity Loops vocoder. Read the tutorial and you've gotta put the carrier on one channel (left or right) and the modulator on the other.

If you're talking about the built-in FL vocoder: crap - don't use it :P

If you're talking about Orange Vocoder, use as an insert effect to a synth and it will work fine ;)

I need a vocoder who modify my voice in real time, like "real (hardware) vocoders".

And--: What are that vocoder who JMJ used on Revolutions Video? Is like a DIY- Synthesizer...

You can use Fruity Loops in combination with the Orange Vocoder in realtime as long as you have a soundcard with very low latency.

The revolutions vocoder is stated in the booklet as a Street Electronics creation (as far as I remember), but I think it's 'just' an EMS Vocoder 2000/3000.
