And when I say found, I literally mean found. This motorbike dealer that my dad was going to had shut down, but resting against the wall I saw a familiar black frame, looked over the wall and there was a keyboard. A few hours later we got the car and put it in the boot.
We tested it with a mains adaptor and it didn't power up, so we got the batteries out. After struggling with 6 D batteries we managed to power it up (so obviously whoever chucked it doesn't have a clue about battery compartments and power inputs, etc.). I can modify the keyboard by putting a power input to the battery terminals so I CAN use a mains adapter. The only other problem is the top F key is broken, but I barely use that anyway seeing as this keyboard's 5 octaves long.
Now comes the "what shall I do with it" problem. Well, I might use it as a MIDI controller (it's got a MIDI in and out ) or I might open it up and do a little bit of circuit bending, depends how bendable the chips inside look. If they're the small SMD RAM/ROM chips (which they probably are) I'm not going to touch them.

If you seriously want a large MIDI keyboard (without any controls (knobs, buttons, etc.)) this wouldn't be too bad. Mind shipping to France would be a burden if you're serious.

I don't want to spoil anything but isn't it a little huge for a midicontroller? I have never liked the idea about speakers built into a keyboard, the idea smells like toykeyboards

It's never huge
But still, I can cut it I only need to modify slightly some things
I don't like those speakers either, but I will remove all that
