I'm having one of my classic "mood struggles", this time struggling if I should waste time buying Jarre LP's from ebay and such places... yet that serves no practical purpose since I already have all of his albums in one form or the other. And wasting too much money on collecting seems like too much of a hassle...

...then again, only LP I have is 'Images' and that mostly/only because I saw it for 2 e in a flea shop and thought it wasn't a bad price and got it.

...oh well, got to wait for the mood to stop. Wee! :no:

I will crap in my pants if I calculate how much i have spent on cd's and records the last half year. I am addicted and it has to stop... for a while.

Now that I got this USB LP drive working (resulting in the aforementioned annoying urge), I decided to start converting some neat old LP's that I've basically waited to convert since 2003 or so... but now I realized there's this freaking odd Line-In whining like noise in there which is too hearable on silent parts (such as track endings). Or maybe it isn't Line-In whining. But annoying whining anyway! :x

I had the same problem :P

In fact, I needed to plug my LP turntable to the RIAA preamp, then to the usual amp, and then to get out from the amp by the Tape Out and enter on the computer on my Mic (as my Line In is dead...)
