Yeps, know this much too well... sometimes you add something and it totally ruins the athmosphere or you still have the feeling it's a bit empty here and there... that 'you miss something'...

Composing electronic music takes time. Remember jmj likes to talk about 'molding clay' when it comes to composing? Well, that's what's really is going on....

I'm busy now for a few years to complete my first album and since months I'm busy with my last track for the album... it takes time ... ideas need to evolve and appear in your mind... then you need to translate them into sounds the way you thought the sounds should be....

For me personally I have to 'fall in love' with the sounds I create. If I don't get that feeling something is wrong :)

I fully understand and agree. I know those motivation and inspiration problems very well. There are times I think I could make a million cool songs in one day and often I indeed end up at least with good basics for new songs. But sometimes I really need to take a break. That's how it goes. Anyway, I hope to finish my first album soon. (actually there are gonna be two albums - one in new age/relaxed mood and one full of experimental electronic tunes - made especially for live performances coming up).

Just wanted to know if there are any news. :wink:
