I think it was that he used somebody said "Zoolook" and then he used some sort of MIDI unit to get it sound like an instrument.

Euh yes, for sound effects he recorded his voice and the voice of LAurie Anderson to create samples he took on his Fairlight ;)
But for the lead, he used a Fairlight sound ;)

Cult Sampler has a few patches from Emulator 3 and EMAX 2, but I'm afraid there's no such a choir sound :? . The only voice-alike EMU patch here is from Emulator 3: SYNTH CHOIR.
Cult Sampler has more choir sounds (for example from Ensoniq Mirage), but some of them aren't specified (in category 'misc'->'orchestral'). On the other hand, on their website (bestservice.de) it is written, that there are sounds from different vintage samplers, like: Orchestron, EMU II, Akai S-612, Ensoniq Mirage, Fairlight, Synclavier, Linn, Mellotron, Master Studio Coll., FZ-1, DSS-1. Yay!

Thank you for the demo.

It is definetly not the Ethnicolor choir sound (it is a multi-choirs patch) although I like much this sound.

Nice test, what did you use for this track? The Elephant(whale or what it is) and the tet(tsut) sound?

Tsut sound has been taken from Rambo website.

Roland XV-5080 (choir)
DX-7 (fx)
Kontakt sampler (fairlight strings/sarahh/percu, emulator tsut)
Oberheim OB-Xa (low brass with bell)

2. What do you think, that is it possible to rip the vocal rhythm line and convert it to soundfont?

"I shall" ??? First word is "Aisha" (Ai-sha-Ai-sha).

I tried to rip voices but I failed. Maybe a sound engineer could do a good rip job (AMR could you help us ?).
There is a soundfont with Ethnicolor voices but rip is very bad.

who knows exactly what the spoken words are in Ethnicolor.

Zoolook is infact JMJ's most personal & revealing album ...
but it is done So cleverly that no one outside of JMJ and this person knows about it.
