After spending hours on the Fantom, it became even difficult to turn to my faithful XP80 Not that it sounded cheap (it certainly doesn't)... but it was a strange sensation.

That was like me with my Trinity after I had got the Newer Triton,It felt really odd,because it had been my main workstation for so long,suddenly it had been relegated to second best....Don't worry you'll soon find you still like the XP,Once the fantom has bedded in you'll be using the XP again and you'll relaise why you liked it so much in the ifrst place,its just the anticipation of having a new toy to play with at the moment thats taken the shine off the XP
Congrats on the new synth...Let us know what it's like to use,once you've gotten accustomed to it

That was my intention. But I postponed the sale and could borrow some money to my dad before someone else could buy the X6 (it was exposed in the shop for a long time and has few scratches so I had an interesting price).

And I think the XP80 will remain very useful for gigs and recordings, especially with all the expansion boards installed. It's still quite a good "second best".

Can't wait to have enough RAM to record full songs with it. I'll finally be able to record my more acoustic songs without the noise of the computer in the background.
