So... I have done a little demo. It's more a demonstration of sounds used in Jarre tracks and also a few Röyksopp. Others are just some improvisation not the most creative but I try to find some cool examples of what the Microkorg can do.
1. The Geometry Of Love lead we all know, it's hard to copy real one as you have the melody, modwheel and time to think about. So it wont sync with the original album version by JMJ.
2. Another known one from the GoL album, used for Velvet Road and Children Of Space. When the Rendez-Vous In Space concert took place, the microkorg wasn't made, that must have been from the MS2000, which was also seen in TK's setup on stage.
3. Yet another GoL sound, heard in Electric Flesh. the first part is supposed to give a picture of the real stuff, later I did some improvisation as I didn't want to figure out JMJ's notes :mryellow:
4. This sound was used in The Voyage from the Rendez-Vous In Space concert, but then again the MS2000 must have been used in that case. Can also be heard in a track called Voyage Voyage made by a group caleld The Nightflyer... hmm... voyage.
5. Just a Solina patch from the Microkorg. The mistakes in this one occures due to the low polyphony, otherwise you will have to be more precise to get out of such problems
6. A lightly modified patch. I found it very similar to something used in Robbie William's track 'Rudebox'.
Be aware of some high resonance sounds. On the lowest notes, it sounds like somebody are having a bad day with the stomach. It happened when I put the files together for an MP3 mixdown, what an irritating format. The Wav files were free from this disturbings, so is the Microkorg.
7. Just a sync patch I found amusing to tweak a little.
8. The same sync patch, just some experiments with the arppegiator, it could almost sound like something used in the end of Together Now.
9. A simple experiment with a patch Röyksopp used for a remix of Coldplay's 'Clocks'. Röyksopp are known to have MS2000, MS2000B and the microkorg, so I don't know which one they used for this sound, but that doesn't really matter.
10. A Bass patch, I changed a little. I think you can make it sound evil. Again there is a toilet problem with the gritty lower notes.
11. A patch I found very similar to some Kraftwerk stuff, besides The Man-Machine it was more or less useful for 'The Robots'.
12. Another patch used by Röyksopp. It can be heard on their track 'Follow My Ruin' from their latest album 'The Understanding'.

Later I will do a demo of the Nordlead 2x where I have more homemade patches. I just can't get myself to overwrite the programs on the MK, eventhough many of the sounds are terrible an completely unuseable unless you are doing mainstream R'n'B or just too weird music.
