I think he was referring to a sound from the Roland D-50.

Hia everyone,

Well the weather is still very strange in the desert.Never thought that it could be so windy and at times a little cold in the evening.

The sheets that cover the screens for the projections. Are being replaced. This was due to the windy conditions lololololol.

But this will certainly not stop Jean Michel Jarre and his team.Preparations are going really well, and some of the lighting has had its first reheasal.

I see everyone is trying to work out what the sample music was from the video.Well all will be revealed.

Like i said before. There will be a few supprises.Especially with the performing of the music.

Well hope everyone is looking forward to the concert.

Speak soon Alan.

Hej!

Just spoken to Warrior Video production team, live from Morocco.
There are some small internet problems, it's hard to get connections down there in the dessert.
But he told me light rehersals are in full progress now, and RTM TV is also there with a production unit.

They are even promoting the concert locally now. Here a small pic from one of the promo flags.

Thanks to Warrior Video

Cool lights!

Reminded me of the "mother ships" from Steven Spielberg's CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND.

Come to think of it there is a scene in the Moroccan desert with a HUGE Ocean Liner stuck in the sand. But I digress....

Sexcellent! I'm having severe heebie-jeebies here :D :D

I spotted the good old laser harp (let's hope JM dropped the wahwah sound on it... that old harp sound roars like hell 8)) - I saw JM playing his AX1, and Claude or Francis was seriously drumming. Very promising all that!! :D

It's very hard to spot which synths are on stage, but I think the two in the middle are JV90 and XP80, then on the right it seems like there is the SH201 on top, but not sure. Perhaps the Access Virus TI is just left of that, under the SPD20 or whatever the exact type was...
