You know, it's just an analog rhythm box. I would buy it either if I had plenty of money (usually they sell for 200~300 euros) or if it was sold waay below the usual price :P

Have a handfull of samples and you have the same sounds. Why buy the original machine then? OK, for collecting purposes, sure, that's why I say - if I had the money... :)

Because the sounds of the MP7 don't have real analog feel, and they're not editable. So 10 samples will do. If you want to sample for example a Jupiter8, you can't.. there's too much different possible settings. Get what I mean? :D

I have to disagree... If you listen closely (to the MP7) you can hear that the pitch of some sounds change with the tempo... and besides 10 samples will *always* sound the same... in that way you remove the life of the machine. Not a single sound is the same as it goes....and it definately has an analog feeling...

Knowing that it's a quite limited piece of history, I was wondering. Did you buy it for your collection or because you wanted that sound in your music?

For that price it's quite a nice thing to own anyways :wink:

i think both :D the samples offered on the internet sound a bit diffrent than in minipops. well i can only ask: "if you were me, would you buy if for 93$?? [incl that you're big JMJ fan] :P
