Last year there was another guy selling a Polysix. He had tried to remove some stickers with thinner: Whole front damaged :!:

I use the JP8K since 1997 and I never tried to recreate this so particular sound. Your patch is very very close to the Synthex, anyway, you should add a little bit of release ...

Another problem I meet each time with this synthesizer is the ADSR enveloppe too soft. Imposible todo a good "Plucking sound" with the JP.

In the case of the Laser Harp sound, reduce the Attack should be a plus, but I see on the picture the cursor is already at least ...

Well done Nico, continue like that, the JP is an awesome synth for design crazy sounds ...

Well done Nico... the glide sound is a little bit too loud though, and you'd need another osc to give the main sound more power...

I don't know, but it's rather easy to design a Laser Harp sound with a Virus!

Your's is better than the Symphonic try. I like their RV2, exept the "laser harp"

I didn't want to post it when I did it (26/10/06) but I decided to post it, we are all friends here :mrgreen:

99% done with the JP8000, except for drums (Orion Platinum) and a bass which is from the D50 (somewhere in the track...)

A sequencer was sending midi signal to the JP8k, I was moving knobs and launching the drum track sequence.
Then, I recorded some effects of my JP and added them into the mix.

Here is the result...
Ok, there was my sister with her friends in the other room, my mother entering/exiting of the room all the time :mrgreen::mrgreen:

I liked it.
Synchronisation is not perfect.
It lacks bass.
But it's a nice jam.
I liked the drums a lot!

Synchronisation has problems because I added the drums after the sequence had began ;)
I could add bass or maybe modify a bit the file with Goldwave, why not :P

Yes I liked it too, almost all music can need a second opinion but that's what we have forums like this for. When the arppegio change notes, it sounds weird somehow
Nice work very impressive especially if you couldn't work 100% consentrated :wink:

I have done some sessions with a friend of mine in a similar style, calling ourselves "The System Of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether"... I'll consider posting mp3s here...
