I don't think it's bad, but I have no reason to switch to a Mac. Simply put I don't need one.

And it shows that you're young when you're dissing DOS! GRR! :P

For those who want to use Mac instead of PC or already have changed, what made you change to Mac and what do you think is better about a Mac? I can't see any advantages of a Mac compared to a PC.

It's said to be more stable in general, and it's said to be very good for graphics, multimedia and music production, the last being the reason I switched to mac. And I am VERY satisfied. No more fuz with bugs and spyware and all that kind of crap. 8)

I don't bother if you'll keep using PC, at least I'm not annoyed with this shitty windoze crap anymore :D

I have a PC just simply because I'm used to it.
I have a break down now and then but "so what"? I don't have my whole life on HDD, plenty of back up's and I actually need a wake up call when it's time to clear off the hard drive from pointless freewares and junk. I don't have anything against Apple/Mac but after all I think I would feel pretty lost with a Mac.

The virus subject was the only positive I could find about Mac but then again. I never have viruses anyway. Last time I had a virus maybe a year ago it was only a stupid trojanhorse which was easy to remove. Like you GeeJee mentioned, Mac is said to be better for musicproduction but then again if you are already satisfied how the PC works. Last time I tried a Mac I couldn't find anything, everything was just not like Windows. I just couldn't use the Mac. On a PC in right corner you have _ ‪‫‫‪‫‫‪ X
On the Mac such things were replaced by colours, it was just dificult to find what I was looking for. I have grown up with Windows and never never really used anything else so it can take som time to learn how to use it.
I remember some old Mac crap, everuthing was grey and white, this was an add to my dislike against Mac. I also never liked Apples design including Ipod, no edges, everything is round and smooth, something just tells me that I need to dislike Apple :P
