I found a Memory Moog Plus with midi etc. in good shape from a private seller. Along with a Synthex and OSCar, it's been on my wishlist forever. How much is too much to pay for one? I really wnat this board, but I also don't want to over pay. $2200 US is what he's asking. Seems fine to me but I'm starstruck by the board right now.

$2200 is a fair price. Be sure to check the condition, Memorymoogs are often sold in bad condition...

"Good price" considering the usual price asked for that keyboard...

Very expensive compared to what you can get with 2200 euros. Is the Memorymoog better than an Andromeda for example? (I have no idea I just ask the question) ;)

Always ask if the price can be a little lower. And a little damage doesn't matter, if you know a little something about synths. Most things are easy to repair.

We're talking US dollars here... so that would make 1500-1600 euros ;)

Thanks for the help guys! I've heard that the MM+ are more stable than the normal Memory Moogs(Plus they do have midi). I'll have to check it out and make sure it is in working condition. Could spend a little more and get an Andromeda (they sell in the box for $3,000 US here) or a PolyEvolver but there is something special about this board to me. It's a piece of analog history.

BTW... in the past few weeks 5 Andromedas have ben sold on EBay two for a little over $2,000 US and THREE FOR UNDER $2,000 US!!! :shock:
