I'm going to go with the Doepfer MCV4, it's at least £20 cheaper than buying kits

Yeah, but I think that to begin with a modular is a bit hard, I never DIY before.
But anyway, I want since a lot of time a MiniSynth, I love what it can do.
Then, I will DIY many effects I'll take in a cabinet, then I'll add some LFO and so on, and I'll have a modular with many effects and a MiniSynth

Yes, that does look quite good actually, I'd probably go with that now I know how much my parts cost from Maplins.
