Hi there

I was listening to EiC Barcelona yesterday evening, and I asked me :
"why not to make a Countdown like this one, it should be rather easy to do".

No problem, I downloaded a software which allow you to make the computer reading a text (in Word for example) and which can export it in wav file, then I sampled it and made a treatment.

I added a string from the Eminent 310U (Nostalgia) and a good low-kick and here it is.

But the problem is that after many listening of the original and my cover, it is rather hard to see differences (especially @23h )

So let me know what do you think about it, the original is recorded in 24/96 but the MP3 file is in 48Khz, 192kbps :

Maybe the string is too flanged, the echo is too long and the kick is not enough big but there are only details

Which voices did you use ?

The pad is not good, I know, and I took one of the first kick wich was not bad.

Maybe you have an equaliser with the kick, you can maybe do something
Try some pads of Nostalgia, they are excellent
