I spotted that too. It's a slightly more geometric, angular frame now. I don't know the name, make or model but I think I prefer that shape to the classic aviator style of the Zulu frames.

Are these the new glasses you're talking about?

Jarre's Concorde shirt was silver?! I always thought it was a kind of dark lilac. Maybe it has something to do with the concert lighting, but I always had the impression it had a purple tint.
I vaguely remember the Equinoxe photo coming from this session:

Very stylish, Jean-Michel! 8)

Are these your own scans of the full magazine or did you lift these pages from an eBay listing? I've known of its existence since it costs somewhere around £300 to buy over here, but I've never seen the full thing before. An unexpected treat either way! :)

These are my scans. I bought this magazine ages and ages ago. I saw it on ebay the other day, I don't know why they ask so much for that magazine.

I think it might go for so much because it's early Jarre media, either that or because it's a pretty rare collector's item.

But hey, if you think that's bad, you should see some listings I've seen over the past few months for some of his shirts! I saw someone selling an EiC one on Etsy for over £100, even when the thing clearly had some big holes in it!

Aqanique wrote: Tue Jun 30, 2026 1:25 pm My biggest worry is that if he DID purchase this thing in Budapest, the brand might be a lot harder to find. I'll chase up your lead first though, it's a pretty solid one and could hopefully help in the search.
I think I remember seeing some pictures of the rehearsals in Lausanne, where he wore that, too. This was definitely before Budapest.
For the logo on it, I would read it as "DJ".

Regarding his red hair during the Oxygene tour 1997 he definitely had red hair at the concert in Stuttgart (May 18th 1997). The photos from his website at that time show that he had red hair in Hamburg (May 16th), too. In Berlin (May 14th) the hair was still black and open. So, the photo session with his daughter must have taken place between 14th and 16th of May...

Hey! :)

Do you happen to remember where you might have seen these photos? So far I've only been able to get the photos from Getty Images. Do you think you might have seen them on a fan site or was it on some kind of other stock image site?

I'm not quite sure. I think they were in an edition of the "Conductor Of The Masses" magazine. I will look it up.

Good news, I think I found the issue of Conductor of the Masses that has the photos of him wearing the shirt. Not the best quality, but it's still something! :)

As for my search for the shirt, I haven't had any kind of other leads or interactions with my Reddit post, but I've found some pretty similar looking logos. I think I might have a way to potentially find the shirt, but it'd be a pretty long shot. :?
