The Music is Kraftwerk,I just cut and pasted sections on the DAW from Home Computer...

Yes thats me singing.. i used to do backing vocals when i was in a band,(and am quite partial to recording my own vocals on my own songs)although i had to sing quite low Key for this to make it more like RH vocals my voice range is a little higher usually and also i added a little Pitch shift and chorus to thicken it up...

.....I did it as a Joke.....I was listening to KW today,and thought about Android,how he always raves on about them,So i got the Idea to rewrite some lyrics for the song from a sort of Kraftwerk point of view.It only started as a few lines,then it just seemed to flow...the more i thought about it...

When i was growing up listening to KW i always had this idea that they were Cyborgs and planned to take over the world,so this sort of stems from that Idea where they try to dominate the Music world by destroying everyone else....Starting with Jarre....

Nothing serious its only a laugh...I had fun recording it!!! :wink:

Heres the Lyrics I wrote:


We don't like Jean-Michel Jarre
So were travelling by car
From Germany to Gay Paris
To destroy his music legacy

Were going on a Tour De France
And head to Paris for a chance
To Kidnap him and then go forth
on the Autobahn to Dusseldorf

We'll burn his album Oxygene
And turn him into a Machine
with patch cables for His Veins
and a Twelve volt battery for his mains

Now he is a full Cyborg
we replaced his brain with a Microkorg
and now there is no Jean Michel
His laser harp can rot in hell

No more Zoolook,Rendez-vous

we'll feed him Filters and Microchips
and Minipops Bleeps and Blips

He'll function as our Home computer

took me about an Hour to do these.

I always written all of my own lyrics and Music,most of my own music is Vocal stuff .I also write lyrics/Music for other people


I've always been good at Poetry since an early age,so lyric writing is just the act of putting it to music,so it quite natural for me..

When I was a young boy I used to rewrite a lot of lyrics for songs I liked to listen to as it helped me get a feel for writing my own and how music/Poetry work together..

Well it was meant in a "Tongue in cheek" manner,if i had of written serious Lyrics,it would have spoilt the Humour in the Kraftwerk manipulating Jarre philosophy,so i guess the lyrics give it the merriment of the situation..

Whats wrong with the Way i pronounce it?? :D perhaps thats my accent

I've always used Craft Work in stead of Kraaaft Verk

Well its the only word i could think of at the time that rhymed with Cyborg that fitted in with the Synth theme :D
