I know the Cities In Concert series - Concorde, Houston, Lyon, London, La Defense - all needed sponsorship, both private finance and public money, to make them happen but this feels different. It is. My original decision was to pretty much ignore this year's tour unless there's a concert in Poland, however... this location seems to be accessible exclusively by car, so I'm hesitant

The city of Słupsk is around 8 km south. It would be nice to have shuttles (not sure what the capacity of the venue is), but I doubt there will be info during the ticket purchase. For me this is kind of a "go/no go" condition...
Of couse, but unfortunately, concerts like that are not possible today. Jarre explained this last year, the safety regulations and environmental regulations, all of that are making it way too impossible today to have a free mega concert in a large Western city. And it almost always has, certainly in the early days: saxophone solos by Kirk Whalum in Houston/Lyon; Hank Marvin guitar solo in Docklands; a Dominique Perrier synth solo at Paris La Defense and Patrick Rondat guitar solos during Europe in Concert and Concert pour la Tolerance. I was sure that Brian May would deliver that in Bratislava but no. Personally, I will travel from Argentina to Sevilla. Last year I did the same with Bratislava and it was so great!
In all fairness he's only using two of them - Equinoxe 4 (which never had any solo except of Rondat's incomprehensible guitar torture) and Oxygene 2 (where JMJ likes to play the lead in the second part, especially the syncopated ascending part, but it always sounds as if he doesn't remember what to do when he reach the highest note).
