Please keep tabs on any "exclusives" that may pop there. I can't stand Discord.

Slightly OT, but I just realized that Discord contributes to the "dead internet" and "no content preservation" issues: communities are moving there (once again pretending this is a fair replacement for message boards like this one, much like it happened with those stupid facebook groups), the content is not indexed by Google and you need an invite to even read them, this especially affects gaming/modding communities, but I've seen even one of my favorite podcasters having their Discord servers for god knows what purpose (Also, as per 21st century standards it's very poorly coded and kind of contributes to what people think about computers these days - once I read someone suggesting that copy-pasting the entire "Pan Tadeusz" (famous Polish book) could hang your computer. When I explained to him that "dude, that's just 500KB of text" he responded "If you try to copy a couple of paragraphs on Discord it starts to lag awfully". Yeah)

Not sure why JMJ needs a Discord server, to me it's indeed a case of "how do you do fellow kids" - they already tried twitch and TikTok, now Discord - as if they have no idea who their MAIN target audience is?

I totally agree. I'm a big fighter against "digital amnesia" myself. I do think this Discord is set up to attract a younger audience. Which is fine, I guess, but you splinter the fanbase again. And besides, IRC works so much better.

Just come on the Blah Blah Cafe everybody! :-D

Has anything been announced about a live broadcast of this concert? I really doubt it but thought I’d ask anyway.

I’m actually really looking forward to this concert. The concept art/pictures look great and I’m a huge fan of Brian May so I’m excited to see what he’ll bring to the table. Hopefully there’ll be a few nice surprises in the set list and I wouldn’t put it past Jean-Michel to have written a new piece especially for this concert.

Even if it’s not broadcast live there should be some great fan footage given how great phone cameras are today.

I hope those of you that are going to the concert have a great time!
Concerts Attended :

Tour 2010: Cardiff CIA 06/10/10
Electronica World Tour: Cardiff CIA 04/10/16

Favorite Concert: Destination Docklands 1988

Well, yes, it has: "It will be televised on Slovakian National RTVS as well as globally via the EBU network and livestreamed on Jean-Michel Jarre’s YouTube channel"

Also, a bit off topic but I'm now registered on the JMJ Discord server, and my, what a mess.... the UI, the clutter, the noise. I like the odd emoji or two but they are everywhere, it seems. It's awful. I'd heard of Discord but never used it until now. Chaotic and uninviting, but I'm 49 years old so maybe it's not aimed at me?! 😊

I’ll definitely stay at the Blah Blah Café but if anything interesting or exclusive pops up on Discord, I’ll post it here.
