Haha! I don't think the AI stuff is great but it is loads better than the awful Oxymore and Oxymore Works album covers. At least there is a return to the link between the artwork and the music. But nothing comes close to the 'classic' Granger covers - Oxygene, Equinoxe, Rendezvous, and Chronologie.

It might be AI, but it's, like Richard says, better than Oxymore and Welcome to the Other Side imho. It's much easier on the eye.

This is good news, quite predictable, because the project is well prepared with a mastered rendering... therefore all the ingredients for a release. I'm hoping for a physical edition with the Director's cut concert, uncensored, long, rehearsals and other bloopers :muahaha: . To be serious, I can't find this Director's cut on 6play as indicated, so I don't know, I'll have to go into exile.
The cover is very pretty, shimmering but I found the original, the one to promote the concert very good, sober and sufficient.
In any case, hearing about A.I. or the multiverse is too much. For me it is not progress and ARTificial is not Art.
Use VR yes but in moderation.

Yeah, a neat CD for this concert would look great in my CD collection. I'm always for nice CD booklets and reading credits too.

A physical release is not too likely - at least in the short term - IMO, bearing in mind the diminishing returns sales wise of JMJ's recent output. WTTOS sold well as a download, but barely charted later as a physical release, Oxymoreworks didn't chart at all. The extra cost involved in producing physical product probably doesn't make financial sense given the poor sales outside the regular studio albums and compilations.
Concerts attended:
Destination Docklands 1988
Paris la Defense 1990
Europe in Concert - Wembley Stadium 1993
Oxygene Tour - Wembley Arena 1997

Oxygene Tour - NCH Dublin 2008
2010 Tour - The 02 Dublin The 02 London (10-10-10)
Electronica Tour - 3Arena Dublin 2016

The video will be posted on youtube (as well as a making of, as Kanta posted above) that makes a chance of a physical DVD/BR release smaller too.

And aaargh, fade outs, the audience gets a fade-out after each track... Streaming is terrible.

The fantoms of Versailles evaporated, the fade in/out between each tracks for a live.... definitely no luck...
I made a version from the Youtube stream that I was able to find in its entirety, much better than the W9 broadcast.
Certainly the streaming album offers a stronger sound but it loses something.
