Laser harp on JX3P?

I've been looking at those Roland Boutique JX-03 things. I notice that it's got two oscillators and some syncing capability; would it be able to create an approximation of the Rendez-Vous 'Laser Harp' sound?

If I recall, that was done on a Synthex by slaving one DCO to the other in some way.
