Oxygene 17 is some kind of combination of Variation 3, Melancholic Rodeo and all a bit more "up" instead of the "dark" Variation 3.

From what I heard the arpeggio seems pretty similar to the ending bits of "Swipe to the right". Not sure what to think about the lead melody. Overall - it seems... pleasant.

Oxygene 17 definitely has a lush vibe from the original Oxygene and Oxygene 7-13 albums with a modern twist. It is delicious I cannot wait for the rest now. :D

I guess I'm waiting for the actual concert. I think a crappy recording is not a good way to experience the album for the first time like so
27-11-10: Ahoy Rotterdam
22-11-16: Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam
01-07-25: Palais royal de Bruxelles/Paleizen Plein Brussel

1: in what way??
2 : Jarre composed it in 2014, read the press release. The Hyphen track released in 2015
"I will release my next album at the end of this year"

Yeah, I don't hear any resemblance.

The press release doesn't say that. It only says that a prototype of "Oxygene 19" was composed back then.

The Intro of Oxygene 17 reminds me a little bit of ATBs Ecstasy from 2004 (Album: No Silence)

I completely share your opinion.

I believe that the harmonies will sound substantially richer when we have access to a good quality recording, but in terms of melody, it will keep being, as Jote assertively described, pleasant.

I think this is remix, not album version. Sounds too modern for me.
