If you are interested in a book about inception of electronic music, which concentrates on JM Jarre's generation, with JM Jarre himself, Vangelis, Oldfield and others in main roles, check out https://dalibordragojevid.gitbooks.io/p ... index.html . I uploaded the first three chapters on GitBook, and will upload the rest in the following days. The book was written by me, so any suggestions are welcome.
If you happen to like the book, please do what you can to spread the word.
Thanks!

Wonderfully written.
Poetic, atmospheric, evocative.

I just moved the 'Modernistic Metamorphoses' chapter on the beginning of the book. I now think the book will better open with this explosive and somewhat historical chapter than with the tranquil 'Aural Presence' chapter.

Hi to everyone,

I just produced the next 'stable' version of the book, after taking into account readers feedback. I don't intend to continue working on it further, at least for some time. Again, the link is:

greetings,
Dalibor

Hi to all,

I just produced a pdf version of the book, which includes images and fancy fonts. It also includes a few "bug fixes" compared to the GitBook version and is a bit more polished.

If you are interested, here is the download link:

If you like the book, please distribute it freely and tell people about it!

Greetings,
Dalibor

I produced the next version of the book, much more complete than the previous one. All chapters are revised, many new artists are added and the book as a whole is substantially changed.

Here is the link:

Happy (re)reading!

Scholarly work Dalibor! :bravo:

What spurred you to create this treatise?

It's simple: the lack of literature covering this kind of composers. I actually hoped somebody else will write something like this, but only to see it's not happening. And so one day... quite long ago, I started writing it myself!

Heh, it's funny that you say that. Quite a few similar endeavors of this kind, in various fields and in various time periods, started under exactly the same circumstances. :)
