I haven't checked, but I doubt that anyone thinks that New Order's "Stray Dog" from their new 2015 album isn't really a New Order track, just because it stars Iggy Pop in it.

I also doubt that anyone thinks that Vangelis has no part in his upcoming collaboration with GZA from the Wu-Tang Clan.

But when a JMJ "fan" is asked if JMJ has actually done anything in his own album (even/ESPECIALLY if there's clear video footage of him doing so AND even showing how the track was made step-by-step from the beginning) - what do you think the JMJ "fan" is going to answer?

(Further example: a JMJ hater listens to Oxygene and thinks it's shit because it's JMJ - a JMJ "fan" listens to Oxygene and thinks it's good because it was really made by Michel Geiss - even/ESPECIALLY when Michel Geiss himself denies it with sound logic)

I do however think it's very unprofessional of Geiss to post what he did on his previous employer's FB page. First of all, dissing your previous employer in public is never ever a good idea. Secondly, it will only fuel speculations (again) that Jarre and he had a falling out.

Well, in his defense, he did quote Michel Granger later in that topic, stating that one must be careful of nostalgia and admitted Granger was probably right.

To be honest I'm getting a bit annoyed with old Jarre fans dissing the E-Project.
JMJ has stated several times in videos that he sends out the demos and gives the other artists space to express themselves. JMJ then finishes the track off (with the exception of the TD track).
The finished article is not JMJ and not the collaborative artist, but a fusion of the two.
This shows how clever JMJ is and how diverse his music is.
Sure not everyone is going to like every track, but that is probably due to not liking that certain artists style. I can hear JMJ in every track. It's not always 50/50, but he is there.

For people who just want Mr.Oxygene, go and play your old cd/vinyl, it's not going to spontaneous combust just because JMJ has decided to make other music that you are not keen on.

I would agree too - after all this is a "JMJ plays in the style of X" album. And while I'm not a big fan of "Rely on me" (I actually skip it) or "The train and the river", "Falling down" from E2 (also his solo track) shows much promise.
