How suitable is Omnisphere Jarre type sounds?
ps. i dont understand why so many hates softsynths here. I know there is cr*ppy softsynths but i know even all hardware synths are not good.

It's one hell of a package that is for sure.

It's up to you if you prefer this or a number of smaller cheaper synths.

For Jarre sounds alone, if you are talking 70's/80's era sounds, it's overkill.
But if you are gonna make more stuff aside from that era Jarre, than yes it's a very good synth/rompler.

I personally prefer other synths for 70's type sounds, because they do them more accurately - if you're audiophile.

Which synths are more accurate ? even still this has samples many old synths and own synthetic oscs... i btw i going use if i get it other uses. and i search Audiounits which limits what is possible use. and i allready have what Komplete 7 and Logic 9.1.8 has when we talk synth sounds.

That's good stuff right there.
You should be able to make much from the synths in those packages.

There is a tendency for people (esp when software is concerned) to externalize their problem and thus see solutions to them in the tools they are using, instead of looking within and working on the core, the base, the foundation. Which is why there is such a thing as gear acquisition syndrome.

Ie, their skills when it comes to composition/arrangement as well as using the tools they already have to get the best out of them.

It's all your choice, where you want to place your focus and time. (and your wallet)

Also, do bear in mind that JMJ made a collection of sounds for Omnisphere as part of the Bob Moog tribute pack. They're not sounds currently heard on any JMJ recordings, they're all new, but there are a few Synthi AKS bleeps and bloops - you can hear them here in my Laser Harp video...

Omnisphere is very good at it.
I'm using it a lot for re-creating his sounds.
Especially the ARP2600 ones, but you need to have also Trillian for that, 'cause its soundsources are inside Trillian.

The Spectrasonics plug-ins are really second to none for being excellent at covering all bases and being very powerful and easy to use. They've always been my go-to synths for most productions.

Actually i dont have GAS. i have other reasons get Omnisphere which seems reasons get better solutions for these uses. and i try think better how jmj sounds are done.

Right, but don't expect his classic patches.
He made samples of his AKS, but none of the sounds is like what appeared on his albums.
