In the meanwhile, a question:
Oxygene 2 bass (album version): is it a square or a pulse wave for you?
I was very uncertain about what to use.
Finally I went for square one.

The solo part was square wave.
You can of course always get pulse to sound like square.

yes, I know.
The fact is that in Omnisphere (actually they're Trillian soundsources) I have ARP2600 Square, Pulse and Narrow Pulse (and also PWM wave if I remember right) already available as oscillator waveforms to start with...
and I noticed that between Square and Pulse my bass sound changes in a notable way.
Narrow Pulse instead is too thin and have to add low frequencies with EQ.

But i'm pretty sure that the first part of the oxy2 plucks was done without percussion on.

Radek you should hold the keys down when you hit the A-C, F-A and D#-G chords. It's too percussive overall. Just a tiny, tiny bit more decay.

yep. also jmj made volume up on decay so it sounds like sustain
