oxygene flute? you mean the solo in the background during square solo from arp2600? it can be oboe or horn register from 310u

bass pedal stereo... it's definately not chorus. could be delay or sth

So, it's something I could recreate with Kontakt ADSR envelope as I already did.

For the tibias instead it's another matter, but I think I'm not interested in that sound in particular, so no big deal.
I'll check however better the Eminent of the robot part of Equinoxe 4.

Yep, interesting question about 2 flute part: chorus or not?

Yeah because the bass is definitely stereo, when you sum the channels it's still there.
The funny thing is on Equinoxe 2 the bass is in stereo only for the first 18 seconds. I'm guessing because it would have been to abrupt to go from Equinoxe 1's stereo bass to a mono bass. It changes to mono when he changes from C to F.

did you use only one sound patch for making the continous wind and the short single bursts modifyng the sound in real time?
or did you made two different patches?

I use several different patches for the wind, because of the different filter settings, I can call them up any time.
You can do it live if you want to, but it won't give you the same sound Jarre has on the album - if that's what you're after. You can only do that with pre-programmed patches.
Of course Jarre was recording things on the go, so he tracked what he needed and used it.

Some wind has the phaser on it, others don't.
There are also hidden little pieces of noise he has buried in the mix pretty well.

Yep, what I wanted to know was if someone made to realize a unique patch, at least for Oxygene 2 or if it was useless and a waste of time.

Well maybe Schulze's Wahnfried 1883 could compete.

Yes, Oxygene 2 is one of the tracks that fascinated me instantly when I heard it.
