The new Propellerhead Reason 6,5 have somthing called RackExtensions, where programmers can make their own instruments and effects. It works pretty cool.

Wasn't someone in here, the developer of a SmallStone Phaser VST ?
Maybe he/they could work on a RE for Reason of the same code? If sounds like the original, I would be the first to buy ;o)

Reason dosn't use VST.

RackExtensions is something quite new.
So perhaps you have to give them some time.
Many developers are releasing their VST/AU plugins also as Rack Extensions effects for Reason.

I saw that U-HE has released the Ubik effects series as Rack Extensions.

Not sure though if their Phaser can emulate well the Small Stone.

Well I have a real russian Small Stone, but I'd like to have it integrated in Reason
So if someone knew the developers of a working VST, maybe they could push them into looking on a RackExtension

Recently there was a really cool DX7 synth Extension that could read/convert the real files from Yamaha DX7. Sadly FM-synths suck IMO, but if the same thing happend to lets say Roland D-50 we could all make our own Revolutions album ...or what about an Elka Synthex

My wish list for Reason extensions would be:

Korg DW-8000 (EX-8000) - A very raw sounding part digital / part analog synth (they recreated the Monopoly so this should be next on their list I hope)
Korg DW-6000 - This had some quirky limitations (6 note poly) and some of the patches actually sounded nicer than on the DW-8000.
Korg M1 (M1R and M1Rex) - With literally millions of sounds available on the web it goes without saying (without the multi-timbral combinations as you wouldn't need it)
Korg DS-8 - A very underrated synth with some great FM patches (yep, I know, FM isn't usually that great)
Roland D-50 (D-550) - I have about 15,000 patches for this great synth so it would be nice to have access to that library of sounds
