I didn't take that photo myself but I saw that cloud and I didn't have any camera, luckily I found this picture of the cloud. I wasn't sure it was over the sea, but I was told it was from the sea. The picture is taken from the habour in the city where I live. I was about 10km from where this picture was taken so I had a better view.

Last night a cute and a little spooky electric cloud was passing by my parents house. It was not loud at all and most of the flashes never hit the ground -it stayed within the clouds (not that common around these areas). I was filming this beautiful thing allthough it became pretty crappy. I've tried to rip off some still frames of the flashes...well, here they are... :P :roll:
