Hi all,

as a christmas gift, I did a bit of remastering of the track I recorded before the Monaco concert. The track is called Elle Dit Oui (she says yes). It's 53 minutes, but the whole track is longer than that. For example: there's a small excerpt from Christophe's "La Dolce Vita" in it, but you can't hear it in the recording.

The track is a lot like "Bonjour/Hello" from the Interior Music album, very ambient and a lot like a sound collage.

You can download it here:

(120MB/320kbps)
Enjoy!

Great, but I have a doubt...

1) was Jarre that create it ?

2) Who did you got the name of this track ?

For both questions: the French forum mention it as being a JMJ track called Elle Dit Oui. I suspected it because it has La Dolce Vita, that is why I started recording it.

Great downloading it right now, I also have the Monaco version, but that just starts out of nowhere after a very annoyingly long peep and afterwards with those pre-recorded audience clapping and all... Where did you actually get this from, and do you maybe have it in uncompressed FLAC..?

I have a WAV too. Like I said, I made an audience recording myself with some good microphones.

Hello and thanks for the recording, a nice memorie for a fan who was there (I was lucky to do so).

Among all the press articles written before the show, and especially on internet, I remember one interview, during which JMJ spoke about the event divided into 2 parts :
- a pre-show muscial introdction called "she said yes/elle a dit oui", a special mix set, created by someone for the event.
- the concert itself, as broadcasted on internet (with a part of "elle a dit oui" before the countdown).

As far as I can remember it was the DJ who created the special introduction to the Bercy pre-show in 2010. I'll check out tonight if I have a copy of the article (I'm not sure); I can clearly remember to have heard parts in Monaco which sounded like the Bercy pre-show. Then the question is to know if JMJ and the DJ who created this piece are the same (whiche I do not believe) or not.

Please note that I'm not sure of my point of view and need clearing. Anyway, I hope it could clear the discussion. Have a nice day.

Hello !

I have checked my articles, and I didn't find the one I was thinking about, sorry not beiing able to confirm the point if view of my former mail.

I just notice in Paris Match, a french people magazine about the wedding that the piece "elle a dit" was composed by JMJ for the event. But I listen to your 53' mn file, and about 32'40 mn, it clearly sound like Derreinck DJ set in Bercy in 2010 (not sure of the spelling of the DJ). So I think it might be a shortcut of journalists (JMJ is well know, the bercy DJ is not yet) .

Maybe someone could have another sources ?

Anyway, I like this piece, even not created by JMJ, which sound "bonjour-hello" style.

have a nice evening
