Maybe Jarre likes traveling rather than stuck in the studio... He can work on the album on the road...

I think he means that he will skip some songs and replace them by some other (known) songs.
Like he did in Monaco (IR 3 instead IR2, Vintage instead of Chronologie 6, ....)

I don´t expect that the "new tracks" are new compositions.
