In David Gilmour's official site, about his concert in Gdansk:

"Tickets for what is likely to be David's last concert of 2006 went on sale today. As previously announced, the show is on Saturday 26th August, at a large venue by the docks in Gdansk, Poland, previously host to large-scale events by performers such as Jean Michel Jarre."

I think we can't know if it's going to be a similar concert...and there're many Pink Floyd fans in Poland, so... ;)

Oh, but it's not his idea! It was Solidarnosc who decided to make a big concert every year (starting last, as we well know) on that same place.

And believe me, who decides to go to that concert, won't be disappointed at all. I wish I could... :?

"How I wish, how I wish..."

It was not Gilmour's idea, he was invited as Jarre to make a concert there. And It will be not similar, I supose. Gilmour & Jarre have different styles of concerts. Don't you think so?
