The stage is taller and wider, and it is about 3 times longer to build it up with the same amount of people.
I don't know about the widescreens for the audience and the fireworks, but it might be bigger too.

If it goes like "He didn´t have the time", then it´s pretty lousy in my opinion. This concert has been "prepared" for many months now, so he COULD (if he wanted) put some new creativity into this show if he REALLY wanted it to be something SPECIAL, than just his usual two hour "hit" show. But if that´s what he thinks is just sooo great...

Visually I think we´re in for a treat, but great visuals don´t just make a good show/concert.

I really REALLY hope, when it comes out on blu-ray, that I will enjoy watching this concert more than just for the visuals, co´s this tracklist died many many years ago.. But one can always hope for surprises..

Oh no, I just remembered.... The CYMBALS!!!!! Arghhhh!!!! If there is a god, please take those cymbals far far away from Mr. Jarre and let him look COOL again!! People are laughing... This is NOT a circus, it´s an ELECTRONIC musical performance... sigh...

Oh well, let´s just hope for an all together good concert :)

Well, this is one of his few opportunities to promote one of his concerts on a very big scale. So, I expect a no risk concert, which means I expect the usual greatest hits concert. However, I sincerely hope that he trusts his and his bands abilites to perform live well enough not to go back to playback show we had in Gdansk. He performed more or less live at Santiago, so I hope he does that, too, at Monaco.

I'm with you on that. Back in 1988, Depeche Mode had big medal pads on stage that triggered different sampled metallic sounds. Now that was an aural and visual treat. :D

Jarre has a massive catalogue of stuff never played in concert. Out of that lot he could do a completely new set which the fans would like and interest people less familiar with his work. To be really honest this set is now boring, and JMJ (although a brilliant artist) needs to kick himself up th'arse.

We must not forget the occasion this concert is for, it comes on Euronews and live online too. This is in my opinion not a concert for us fans only, but for a wide public, then I expect him to play his greatest hits, like oxy 2 and 4, magn, fields 2 and equinoxe 5 to name a few examples, seems a bit odd to leave them out for a concert like that will be in Monaco.
