This series of paintings that I've created has been inspired by listening to Waiting for Cousteau.
Some notes:
For Calypso, I wanted to do something colourful - I apologise for the subject matter, but it is of special significance for me.
The piece representing Waiting for Cousteau is actually my biggest painting to date
"Cousteau on the Beach" is from watching a Cousteau documentary about Clipperton Island.
"The Last Refuge" is really an unfinished sketch!
Mainly acrylics on canvas, but oil pastels and pastels also used.
