He did a YouTube message for fans to continue to share videos and his body language was giving something away. :punch:

Should we presume the poster is the cover of the artwork of the album? :robertdugenou:

I know! I can't wait! The Rarities bootleg versions are not so good. And I don't want to play my 7" that much.

Well, that's a bummer. Half of Granges Brulees on it, which is hardly rare anymore, is it?

Hapiness Is A Sad Song is a very nice surprise, though. La Cage + Erosmachine were expected, some of his best pre-Oxygene stuff is there too (Hypnose and Windswept Canyon), but no Cartolina/Helza.

Essentials CD can be skipped. No Equinoxe 4 extended mix, RV4 extended mix, Zoolookologie extended mix or Zoolook extended mix.

It's a shame that they have to tag remixes on the end of releases - if they were by JMJ himself then fair enough but why waste space on tracks that are not produced by the artist that is on the packaging?

Anyway, rant over! Nice to finally have some of these tunes in high quality - shame that Pogo Rock isn't on it though.

Fairlight Jarre - we salute you! :peacemaan:

Nice selection of tracks, but could have been better. Certainly would have done away with 'Gloria' and 'March 23'. Not my personal choice for an 'Essentials' album. But I never really liked those tracks anyway. And do away with the Vitalic remix too.

A bit put out that Cartolina and Helza are missing in view of the fact that tracks from LGB take up some of the tracklisting. The Essentials disc is fine as a greatest hits goes. Really intrigued to hear what 'Happiness' sounds like after first hearing about in 1988 in JL Remullieux's JMJ biography :)
