To be fair to JMJ he did expand on his reasons for dedicating this to FD, and acknowledged the problems they had:Jon wrote:"Essentials is a tribute to my friend Francis Dreyfus, who died in 2010."
Sorry to be frank, but that's a hypercritical comment to make considering BEFORE Dreyfus's death, Jarre didn't like him. Or is Jarre kissing ass for the sake of a record label.
This interview I had not seen before, thank you. Atleast he must have resolved some issues, if not all, to get his foot in the door with Dreyfus Music. Afterall said and done, still wasn't nice what FD did across Jarre and the fans.Pat Gleeson wrote:To be fair to JMJ he did expand on his reasons for dedicating this to FD, and acknowledged the problems they had:Jon wrote:"Essentials is a tribute to my friend Francis Dreyfus, who died in 2010."

Well... It depends on Jarre's mood I guess... The one time he just presses one copy and the other time 2000Dr_Jones wrote:probably an edition with an external carbon sleeve thingy over the box.Robi wrote:Limited edition??
Actually, that's a good question. The digital version would be surely available Europe-wide. The published picture has English titles, so I'd say it will be released in various other countries also.shadow wrote:By the way... Is the release just for France, or for Europe..?
No, it was not nice but if Jean Michel chooses to to this then I am 101% behind him.Jon wrote:This interview I had not seen before, thank you. I sense it was more the fans who didn't like him, than Jarre himself.Jon wrote:... Jarre didn't like him. Or is Jarre kissing ass for the sake of a record label.
