Jean Michel Jarre has been informed that his concert in Kosice scheduled for November 16th next is cancelled : the Slovakian promoter, Jan Poliak from EPG Rock On ! could not comply with the contractual financial conditions.

This news has caused great disappointment and prejudice to the Artist and his staff, at such late notice.

Jean Michel Jarre and his Management have instructed Mr Jan Poliak to give immediate full refunds to all the fans who have bought tickets.

Jean Michel Jarre Management.

I interpret the text as:

The promoter was not going to pay enough money to JMJ for his performance. :(

???

Maybe. Maybe not.

Kosice had no that low sales anyway.

I am sorry for the fans. Hope they get a refund. But those who booked accommodation and travel may not get a refund.

Kosice was not meant to be. Having twice cancelled. This would have a negativity on future concerts there, if any!

Reminds me a bit of the Düsseldorf concert in 1994... it was also cancelled last-minute and there weren't many information about a cancellation (with the internet it's better today). So we were already in Düsseldorf in front of the Rheinstadion and were informed about the cancellation. By the way: the money were never refunded!
