Hi, I'm a lighting designer so have a pretty good knowledge of the lighting and special effects equipment that JMJ uses. What do you want to know about?
For the current tour, the stage is lit with a number of Varilite fixtures. The colour changers along the back, backlighting the band are the new VLX LED fixtures, the really bright light for the theremin and Calypso 3 solo is a Syncrolite (there were nine on the previous tour (US/cyc hung). Along the front of the the stage (for this tour) there are 24? Showtec LED fixtures (can't remember exact name, but they're the '300' model). A few times a strobe is used, and these are Martin Atomic strobes. The stage itself is lit with more Varilites from the 3000/3500 series. Down stage are VL3000/3500 spots, whereas side light is courtesy of the VL3500 wash fixtures. The LED panels surrounding the musicians are custom made by the LD's own company. Lasers: I'm not sure of the manufacturer as I've not seen them before, with the split head. In terms of power, probably not that powerful, maybe 3 watts? However, the power and the apparent power depends on whether the laser is white light or a combination of RGB modules. Apparently, the laser harp is around 1 watt.

For the previous Indoors tour and the 2008 Oxygene tour, Varilites were used then too.
For the Oxygene tour in 1997, the rig consisted of Icons, VL500's and a few VL2's. Strobes I can't remember, but there were a few, each with colour scollers, and the 'worms' that formed shapes in the air were custom made fixtures using KinoFlo tubes, with each section having two different colour temperatures for different effects. Also, this tour used 6 8-lite molefays with Rainbow scrollers as wash lights. The Oxygen In Moscow show also used the same fixtures, but with the building being illuminated using Arena Visions - again with colour scollers. The projections were courtesy of PIGI projectors, which JMJ also uses for most of his outdoor events, including the Pyramids.
For the Pyramids, they were lit using Studio Due City Colours. The stage lit using a number of different fixtures, but the majority were Varilite I think. Beijing also was littered with Varilites, but of the 2500 series - on the stage at least. I don't know what was used to light the buildings.
