Jarre could fart the lead of Oxygene 4, and Kanta would love it. :punch: :p:

Regarding Oxygene 12, I think it sounds odd because the camera mostly captures the sound from the left speakers. :P

Just got back from Oberhausen. Great gig! A lot of improvement from last year. The laser were very impressive. I probably missed a lot last year by sitting first row (lasers went over me all of the time there), but now we were sitting on the 2nd ring and we were really "in" the lasers. We could also see tapestries of lasers below us. During R-V4, there were lasers all around us. It was really impressive.

The show started sober, not much visuals and laid back music (Oxygene 1), but it progressed to a feast for eye and ear.

The audience was very enthousiastic. They were dancing, clapping, cheering.

One negative point: the sound was VERY loud. But that means I could make some good audio recording.

@ Dr_Jones: You say there were lasers all around at RV4? That must be an improvement as well looking at the RV4 videos from Youtube from the previous nights? I think I remember the visuals during that track being down to "just" the Screen and "some" lights?

I would looove to experience RV4 in total laserheaven!! :P

I haven't watched much of the videos, but all I can say is: hell yeah, there were lasers during RV4! we almost drowned in them :-) Equinoxe 5 had different lasers too, I think.

yes, but the lasers during equinoxe 5 have changed compared to Katowice 2010 too. The yellow lasers went up vertically with mirrors instead of going over the audience.

With Dominic burping out the bass, Francis "parping" out the chorus by cupping his hand under his armpit and squeezing it out, followed by Claude doing percusion by blowing into a half empty glass bottle :pwned:

Hehe, first time I looked at this photo, I expected a Wallace & Gromit invention to pop up behind Jarre and shove a jumper over him.

Some VERY cool use of the big screen, both for "external" and first-person shots of Jarre playing during the Variation:

Also, Jarre is really living up to his "mad scientist" or "mad genious" image. 8)
