I particulary like the "live" feed footage of the guys on the keyboards as seen via the small cameras, then screened on the large stage backdrop - nice touch.

I dont know if you saw Jarre in 1997 but he had a small JarreCam on his glasses then, which showed his hands and fingers playing, on a (circular?) screen on the stage.

Jarre already did that. In 1998 at the Electronic Night concert, part of the stage roof caught fire, and a guy climbed up there and put it out. The audience screamed "le feu!" and then applauded the guy when he was done. So it was both pyrotechnics and acrobatics as part of the show :-) The concert never stopped though, it was business as usual on stage during the incident.

The infamous ENight had real fireworks too, of course.
