Here JMJ is playing the new piece:
http://jote.eu/tour2010/visuals.jpg

The new piece is just three minutes of chords on the Eminent :-)
On the screen you can see "realtime" counters counting all kinds of nasty things.

"Just 3 minutes"
But that 3 minutes can be nice! Is that so?

I do like these animations!

Only the stable tracklist. :|

Visuals look interesting, does this mean hes done away with the Rear Laser effects?? :?: or are they on some kind of winch coming down as and when needed?I liked this a lot on the first leg shame if he ditched them in favour of Screen visuals

In terms of tracklist,Little change really, although I get the impression Jarre likes to play safe and sticking to a more or less rigid setlist from the first leg,he doesn't seem very confident or adventurous to vary it at all, which is a shame when he has so much back catalogue stuff that would be more than welcomed than just the commercially viable comfortable radio friendly melodies.

However this is the same tour, just a different leg so although little has changed he's still really on the first phase except with a newer visual aspect and I suspect learning more tracks would take more time to perfect.Still I wish he would have a couple of setlists which would vary from show to show and cover a wider basis of his Albums.

With respect to the Sound,I Did feel(as a musician and engineer)that the mixing on some tracks was poor at the gigs I attended, seems he's still having a few teething troubles with this new show and certain elements of timbre, but thats just my preference and me being a Pedantic Musician and the fact you notice things more objectivly when your involved in Music production, hopefully by the time he hits the UK this may have been addressed

Some videos from JustineVonGrimm:
http://www.youtube.com/user/JustineVonGrimm :P

When I first saw the first 3 videos I was very happy but I am slightly disappointed about the tracklist. Kinda similar to the 2009 one. I am sure my disappointment is a short one. I do think that the one big screen filling the stage is a bit of a distraction and too low behind the musicians. Kinda a distraction. What you see on videos might be different to what you witness live, though.

Although the track listing see's very little change, the "live" aspect will differ. You can never play it note perfect every-single-time  . But the track listing is a good one anyway. Although it would have been nice to have seen Chrono 4 in the set list, I'm will be extremely happy to have come away from the concert after hearing Oxy 2 and Equinoxe 5 - two tracks from my top 5 fav Jarre tracks OF ALL TIME.

They may not be to everyones liking, but they are to MY liking and as it's me paying to see the show, that's all that counts. Roll on October.

Oxygene 2 and Equinoxe 5 was played at the World Arena Tour 2009. If you did not witness those concerts then yes, it's perfect! :P

I just wish the tracklist was 25% different. :robertdugenou: But I am eternally grateful he will come to England and I am still very excited to go to Bercy. Just keep thinkin positive. At least he is doing something and not nothing. :fine:

EDIT: Someone must have recorded the new track. :?

That's the positive way to think. Once we had to wait a number of years for Jarre to turn up and perform live. Now it's cut right down to a few months. Make the best of it while it lasts.

Thank you Radek. Superb audio quality :D

Nice composition, simple, minimalist, quite moving in some aspects, but nothing really special in terms of previous songs by Jarre. It sounds more like something used for a TV commercial. I can easily imagine some guys voice over: "Every 3 minutes, a child dies of poverty and hunger in South Africa", or enviromental decline, those kind of commercials.
